Week 26 { 3/14- 3/18}

Our Bible Stories this week were The Good Shepherd, The Ten Lepers, The Good Samartian and Mary and Martha.

For Language we practiced sounds D an F and for Math we reviewed our Numbers.

Our Character Trait this week was Orderliness and our Bible Memory Verse was 1 Corinthians 14:40 Everything should be done in a fitting and orderly way.



Our God's World Theme was Sports.

Week 25 {3/7 - 3/11}

Our Bible Stories: Stop, Storm!, Jarius's Daughter, Bread and Fish for a Crowd, and Jesus Walks on Water.

For Language we reviewed the sounds of A, E, I, O, and U and then also started on B and C. We also practiced listening; I would say a state name and then they would practice saying it.

For Math we worked on Numbers 29 and 30 as well as the concept of Many and Few.

Our Character Trait this week was Obedience and our Bible Memory Verse was Ephesians 6:1 Children, obey your parents in the Lord.



Our God's World Theme was Growing Up and talked all about the Stages of Life, Caring for Babies and Caring for the Elderly. (No Photo of Library Books.)

Week 24 {2/28 - 3/4}

Bible Stories: The Centurion's Servant, Jesus' Compassion, The Rich Farmer, and The Sower and the Seed.

For Language we worked on sounds O and U and also worked on some more vocabulary.

For Math we worked on Numbers 27 and 28. We also worked on Number Recognition where I got a yard stick out and I would say a number and they would have to point to it.

Our Character Trait this week was Meekness and Our Bible Memory verse was Matthew 5:5 Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth.



Our God's World Theme this week was Friends.

We also started talking a lot about Safety and Emergencies. We practiced making calls to 911 and we also practiced "stop, drop and roll".

Week 23 {2/21 - 2/25}

Our Bible Stories: Matthew Follows Jesus, Jesus Chooses His Apostles, Love for All, and Do Not Worry.

For Language we studied more sounds (e and i) and we worked on complete Sentences.

For Math we worked on Numbers 25 and 26 and also the concept of smaller and larger and hand/eye coordination.

Our Character Trait this week was Loyalty and our Bible Memory Verse was Proverbs 17:17 A friend loves at all times.




Our God's World Theme was Birthday. Since I didn't want to pick around whose Birthday we studied this topic, I chose Daddy's Birthday week to learn all about Birthdays.

Week 22 {2/14 - 2/18}

Bible Stories: Jesus Clears the Temple, Nicodemus, Jesus Goes Fishing, Jesus Heals a Paralyzed Man.

For Language we are reviewing our letters and going thru them again and starting to work on the sounds.

For Math we are working on our Numbers and this week worked on Numbers 23 and 24.


Our Character Trait this week is Love and our Bible Memory Verse is Matthew 22:37; Jesus replied, Love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.



Our God's World theme this week was Valentines Day.

We have also been working on the Lord's Prayer:

Week 21 {2/7 - 2/11}

This week our Bible Stories were John the Baptist, John Baptizes Jesus, and Jesus is Tempted.

For Language we reviewed our letters and for Math we reviewed numbers and colors. For colors we talked about the primary colors and the secondary colors. I put cool whip in three zip locks and added food coloring, red to one, blue to one and yellow to one. Then I added a different color so we made the secondary colors of purple, oragne and green. The girls really liked that and thought it was cool!

Our God's World theme this week was Our Bodies. We talked all about our body parts, both inside and out. The girls found their heartbeats, and we played Simon Says with them doing a bunch of different things with all their body parts. I also traced their bodies on large paper and they colored themselves.

Our Character Trait this week was Kindness and our Bible Memory Verse was 1 Thessalonians 5:15 Make sure that nobody pays back wrong for wrong, but always try to be kind to each other.

Week 20 {1/31 - 2/4}

This week our Bible Stories were: Baby Jesus; The Wise Men; Escape to Egypt; and The Boy Jesus.

For Language we did Mazes, The Letter Z and then we did a couple review activities of the Letters. One was I would draw a letter on their back and see if they could guess it... that didn't work out to well! : )

For Math we worked on Left and Right, and also Top Middle, Bottom, Above, Below, Under and Over.

Our God's World Theme this week was Communication. We talked about what Communication was, Verbal Communication, Non-Verbal Communication and Communicating with God. One of the books we had from the Library had all the signs for the letters so we practiced those. I also had a video of all the signs for the letters and the girls really enjoyed watching that and doing them along with the video.

Our Character Trait this week was Joyfulness and our Bible Memory Verse was Proverbs 15:13 A happy heart makes the face cheerful, but heartache crushes the spirit.
